Laura
Tashji-Clauss
Dance Instructor
Laura has been dancing, singing, and acting all her life. Most recently,
she performed the role of the Dream Zelda in an off broadway musical
, Scott and Zelda, about the lives of F. Scott Fitzgerald and
his wife. At the Palace Theatre, she sang the role of Gertrude in Hansel
& Gretel with Margaret Lattimore from the Met.
Her film credits include,The Manchurian Candidate featuring Denzel Washington
and Meryll Streep and on television in Law and order. Laura was a scholarship
student at the Joffrey Ballet School and is an alumni of NYC's High School
of Performing Arts.She has studied at American Ballet Theatre and Broadway
Dance Center. Laura was a theater major at Carnegie-Mellon University.
She has choreographed and performed in numerous videos, dance concerts
and is currently on staff at the Stamford School of Ballet and the
Conservatory of Dance in Georgetown, CT. She has taught at the Darien
Dance Center, Westport Dance Center, and the MACH Alvin Ailey Camp at
the University of Bridgeport. She is a member of SAG. |
