Anna HolbrookAnna studied acting in New York City with Wynn Handman of the American Place Theatre and renowned acting coach Michael Howard. Her acting career included working with Frances Sternhagen, and creating roles in a number of original pieces; on film with Nick Nolte in "I Love Trouble"; on television in numerous guest appearances on "Law and Order", "Law and Order: SVU", guest work on "Spin City" and "The West Wing". This past summer Anna helped in the casting for the Summer Theatre of New Canaan's critically acclaimed production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew.  Having directed South School's Annual Variety Show for the last three years, Anna enjoys working with children and looks forward to teaching acting at the Performing Arts Conservatory. Believing in helping each young person understand that they are unique and interesting all on their own, Anna remarks, "sometimes you just need to find out how to "tap" that inner resource! Acting is a wonderful way to explore our many possibilities."  Anna has lived with her husband and two children in New Canaan since 1993.
