Beth Schwartz performed on Broadway and in the national tour of Hello Dolly starring Carol Channing. She also toured the US and Canada with Tommy Tune and Ann Reinking in Bye Bye Birdie, and with Cathy Rigby in Annie Get Your Gun. Other national tours include Oliver with Davy Jones and Donna Murphy, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Singin' in the Rain. She appeared as Dot in Allegro in the Encore series at City Center, and off Broadway she appeared in Anything Cole and Sondheim's Anyone Can Whistle.
Favorite regional roles include Fiona in Brigadoon (Cape Playhouse), Julie Jordan in Carousel (Kinkaid Regional Theatre) and Eliza in My Fair Lady (Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre).
Originally form Madison, Ohio, she has a degree in Music Theatre from Shenandoah University. She has directed and choreographed many stage productions, and has been teaching dance, creative movement and musical theatre workshop classes in the New York/CT area for the past ten years.
She also enjoys directing and singing with "The Blue Notes", a local group of women who provide music therapy for residents in nursing homes, rehab and senior centers across Fairfield County.
Beth, her husband Brian, and sons Jeremy and Dylan have lived in New Canaan since 2002. She looks forward to her 4th year of teaching at the Conservatory. AEA, SAG.
She has a degree in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory .
She now resides in New Canaan with her husband, Brian, and two boys, Jeremy and Dylan. She currently sings with "The Blue Notes", a group that sings in rehabilitation centers and nursing homes to provide music therapy for the residents. She has taught dance and drama off and on for 22 years in the New York area, as well as in Virginia and Ohio, and is a member of Actor's Equity and SAG.
