Emilie Roberts Hannon has appeared Off & Off-Off Broadway, creating leading roles in 5 original musicals, as well as in productions of "As You Like It" and "Scapin". Regionally, she has starred in "Deathtrap", "The Respectful Prostitute", "She Loves Me", "Oklahoma", "The Robber Bridegroom", "Threepenny Opera" and others.
She has been performing with the Summer Theater of New Canaan, appearing as Mrs. Darling (and a pirate) in "Peter Pan", as Lilly's mom in "Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse", as the Baroness Elsa Schraeder in "The Sound of Music" and this past season as Morgan Lefay in "Camelot".
Emilie has appeared in musical revues across the country, locally at The Westport Country Playhouse, the White Barn Theatre, the Westport Arts Center, and the Theatre Artist's Workshop. She has performed such operatic roles as the Queen of the Night in Magic Flute, Violetta in La Traviata, Nedda in Pagliacci, and Eudoxie in La Juive. She is an accomplished choral singer, and has appeared on recordings for Columbia and Naxos.
Emilie is a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music, and a member of the Board of the Theatre Artists Workshop and Actor's Equity Association.
Emile teaches private voice to classical and musical theater students at the Conservatory.
